San Diego County Gun Owners Officially Endorse “Yes” To Recall Newsom

Written by Jamie Parsons

San Diego County Gun Owners (SDCGO), has announced its endorsement of a “yes” vote for the upcoming California recall election. Though they are not endorsing a candidate, the political action committee (PAC), and second Amendment rights promoters, encourage everyone to vote yes in order to remove governor Newsom from office. Newsom’s support for restricted gun laws and divisiveness when it comes to civil rights, is what pushed the SDCGO to take part in the September 14th recall.

So far Newsom has signed into law SB 61, AB 879, AB 893, and AB 1297, alongside with promoting Prop 63; all of which made it harder for Californians to purchase and own a gun, and restricted your gun usage. The executive director of SDCGO, said, “First-term Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom is the most anti-Second Amendment governor the state has ever endured.”

Founded in 2015, the SDCGO is San Diego’s largest registered PAC and civil rights organization. It is believed to be America’s first, strictly local, countrywide Second Amendment advocacy organization. With that being said, they have also been providing news and information to Californians about the recall and what needs to take place in order for Newsom to be recalled.

One topic the SDCGO has been promoting is low voter turnout. Due to recall elections historically drawing low voter turnout, the SDCGO emphasize the importance votes will make in the upcoming election. By getting people who don’t normally vote to vote “yes” on the ballot, it could give supporters of the recall an upper hand in the race.

As the recall inches closer and closer, organizations such as the SDCGO are coming out and endorsing their stance on the recall. With the recall only a month away, the San Diego County Gun Owners have now said to be in favor of the recall and wish that you and everyone you know, will vote Newsom out of office. Being advocates for Civil rights and guns, Newsom has lost their support, and they are now seeking out a new California governor who will support the Second Amendment and the fundamentals of the United States.
