Former BLM Leader Exposes Its Extremist Beliefs

Black Lives Matter (BLM) was an organization that aimed to help struggling black families and sought out to help out minority families in need of support. BLM doesn’t have a main central leader as they have different chapters, leaders from different states and countries. The central founder Patrisse Cullors co-Founder to BLM, two others Alica Garza, and Opal Tometi started BLM in response to Trayvon Martin’s killer George Zimmerman being acquitted on the case of self-defense as Florida was a stand your ground state.

In a recent interview, Rashad Turner, a former BLM Leader exposes the movement for its lies and deception, he states “No matter your start in life quality education is a pathway to success.” Turner further says that he “learned they [BLM] had little concern for rebuilding black families and cared less about  improving the quality of education for students in Minneapolis.” his reasoning for claiming that was when BLM “Publicly denounced charter schools and the teachers union, I was an insider in Black Lives Matter and I learned the ugly truth, the moratorium on charter schools does not support rebuilding the black family but it does create barriers to a better education for black children, I resigned from Black Lives Matter a year and a half, but I didn’t quit working to improve black lives and access to a great education.”

Turner decided it was in his best interests to serve his community directly saying “Today I serve as the President and executive director of Minnesota Parents Union, we are dedicated to help parents move from failing schools to successful schools, it’s hard work and we are up against forces who don’t want us to succeed, but success IS possible, just look at me and the hundreds we’ve helped purse a great education, break the chains of poverty, and live a life of success” he shows that just because someone is born in a bad situation they don’t need to stay poor because of their background, it doesn’t mean you can’t have a great life or higher education.

Much to his dismay, he didn’t see the meaning behind their name in their actions as they were not aiding in rebuilding Black families or not helping BLM’s reputation of their members. He originally started his chapter in St. Paul, Minnesota as a way to help his community as he saw something good in the BLM name but wasn’t expecting the far left and blatant socialist agenda they push on its members as Cullors says in a BLM History video “we are trained Marxists.” Marxism, being the same belief that resulted in the deaths of millions due to starvation, work camps, and outright government corruption.
