Costco closing all Photo Centers on February 14

As we enter 2021 and digital media has increasingly become the new norm, Costco will be closing all photo centers across the country. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon via the Costco Photo Center website, in a bulletin titled “Important Photo Center Announcement.”

Some services will remain available through delivery, but others will not be available at all once the centers close. The discontinued services include ink refill, passport photos, photo restoration, and YesVideo.

These are the services that will remain available but via delivery instead of in person at photo centers:

  • Prints, Enlargements & Posters
  • Stationery & Photo Greeting Cards
  • Canvas, Metal & Acrylic Prints
  • Photo Books & Calendars
  • Photo Blankets & Other Photo Gifts
  • Business Printing Products

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sincerely,

Costco Photo Center”

If you’ll be looking for a new photo center come February 14th, you can likely find one at your local Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, or other big-box stores.
