Grossmont Healthcare District Announces Search for New CEO

LA MESA, Calif. (December 30, 2020) —- Following up on the announced retirement of CEO Barry Jantz, the Grossmont Healthcare District (GHD) has announced its search for a new Chief Executive Offer.

“This position offers an exciting opportunity for executive-level management professionals with career emphasis in health policy, health programs, and/or public health to join the District under the guidance of an elected five-member board,” said GHD Board President Virginia Hall.

Importantly, the CEO serves as a liaison with Sharp Grossmont Hospital and community, state, and federal officials, assures legal compliance with state, regional, and community regulations, and monitors fiscal commitments and the operational budget of the District.
