Transparency Foundation: We’re suing Nathan Fletcher

This was originally published in an email from The Transparency Foundation

Have you been following the latest damage being done by Nathan Fletcher in San Diego County?

–First, he imposed a damaging lockdown of businesses and schools

–Next, he shamefully targeted his political opponents with fines and smears

–Then, he shut down public comment at board meetings – and…

–Now, he’s refusing to hand over documents sought in an investigation into his inappropriate use of taxpayer funds.

We need your help to hold Nathan Fletcher accountable – and to stop the damage he is doing in San Diego County!

Since November, Nathan Fletcher has refused to comply with a lawful request our attorneys submitted under the California Public Records Act (CPRA). Fletcher is trying to keep secret his official public records regarding how he spends taxpayer money in his office, grants and contracts he’s awarded to his political backers, data related to the true damage done by lockdowns, and more.

We need immediate support so we can have our attorneys force Nathan Fletcher to hand over these documents which are key to our investigation and which the public has a right to see.

Can you contribute anything to our legal fund to fight Nathan Fletcher and get these records made public ASAP?
