Caitlyn Jenner speculates running to replace Newsom in recall election

The Olympian and famous television star Caitlyn Jenner is considering putting herself forward as a potential replacement for Governor Gavin Newsom in this year’s recall. As Newsom’s approval rating is plummeting and several polls are showing that Californians want change, Caitlyn Jenner is taking upon herself the task of challenging the governor and running for the highest office in the Golden State.

Caroline Wren, a longtime GOP fundraiser that previously worked for a fundraising committee for President Donald Trump in 2020, and Brad Parscale, former Trump 2020 campaign manager, are helping Jenner with personnel in order for her to launch a gubernatorial bid.

If Caitlyn Jenner is to win, she would be the first transgender governor in the US, and a Republican at that.

The GOP is a party that opens its arms and embraces real diversity, it is the party of the American people, regardless of race, sexual orientation, social class, etc. This certainly shatters that tired old narrative that the Democrats have fueled for a long time: ‘The GOP is a party of rich white old men,’ along with all of the usual name-calling like transphobic, racist, sexist, etc.

Far from that, the Republican Party has shown itself to be caring to the history of this country and its strong and diverse society, and Jenner’s decision to run as a Republican pays tribute to that.
