Despite being put in charge of the border, Vice President Kamala Harris has yet to visit the site, in direct contradiction with her statement that “You have to see and smell and feel the circumstances of people to really understand them.”
In response, Arizona Attorney General Brnovich has written to VP Harris and invited her to formally tour the southwest border.
“With that in mind, I formally invite you to join me for a tour of the southwest border in Arizona later this month,” he wrote.

The fact that VP Harris even needs a formal invitation is ridiculous, especially considering that the situation is worsening.
More and more criminals are crossing the border, with little to no consequences as the current administration seems to prioritize catering to them over legal American citizens.
As the person responsible for the county’s borders, Vice President Harris has an obligation to make the effort to visit and see the damage firsthand so that she can formulate solutions.
The Biden Administration’s response to this country’s immigration crisis has been pitiful and uncoordinated, to say the least, and the absence of the Vice President at the border speaks volumes about how unimportant the issue is to the administration as a whole.
