Local organizers have planned a Republican Party rally in Pacific Beach on Saturday, January 23rd at 11 am. There will be a recall Newsom signature booth at the event for those who haven’t signed yet.
The event organizers are encouraging people to “wear Trump/Republican gear” and to bring signs, flags, etc. to express support. The organizers also noted that local law enforcement is not enforcing meters or yellow/green curbs, so parking should not be an issue.
The event will be held at 4400 Ocean Front Walk near the lifeguard tower on the boardwalk.
The effort to recall Gov. Newsom is still moving full speed ahead. With over 1,000,000 signatures, the campaign has really taken off. Despite that, there are still about 500,000 signatures needed to get the recall on the ballot. So if you haven’t signed yet but would like to see Newsom’s term come to an end, make sure to sign before the March 10th deadline!
