Republican Joe Green wins re-election for Vista City Council

Joe Green, endorsed by the Republican Party of San Diego County, has successfully defended his District 2 seat on the Vista City Council, defeating challenger Liz Perez.

First elected in 2016, Green’s story is among the many success stories of San Diego County. Since 1998, he has owned and operated his own real estate and mortgage company, Green Team Realty. 2016 became the year that Green, your everyday business owner, successfully made it into elected office here in San Diego County.

As a business owner himself, the challenges that business owners have been facing amid the pandemic have been a major concern for Green. And more open conversation and collaboration between residents and local government have been a focal point in Green’s career.

“I approach each day with a smile on my face and a positive attitude. Whether I agree or not, I want to hear what people have to say, and, in the end, know that they matter,” says Green.

Green’s ultimate goal is to bring the community together and ensure that every citizen feels entirely heard and knows their needs can be adequately met.

“You can be sure that a Vote for me is a Vote for Vista, and a Vote for your Voice; to be heard, loved, and understood.”

Throughout his re-election campaign, the San Diego Republican party showed massive support for Green, working tirelessly to spread his message across the city of Vista. They understood that it takes such a person, committed to both transparency and discussion, to create a closer, more unified community.
