Jim DeBello’s New Advertisement Calls Out Congressman Scott Peters’ Failed Leadership

Written by Michael Palomba

“I’m running for Congress because I’m concerned that Congress is becoming detached from the American public.”

That is the start of congressional candidate Jim DeBello’s new campaign ad, which highlights a very important number: Zero.

Zero is the number of bills that his opponent, Democrat Rep. Scott Peters, has passed during his eight years in Congress.

“My opponent has had zero bills passed that he sponsored. Zero bills in 8 years, that’s not success in my opinion. That’s not leadership,” said DeBello. “People want to be heard, that’s what I’m going to bring to Congress.”
