Candidate Profile: Karen Clark-Mejia for Cajon Valley School Board

Karen Clark-Mejia is the Republican Party of San Diego County’s endorsed candidate for Cajon Valley School Board Area 4.

Karen’s service in the community as a leader, therapist, and educator makes her stand out in this race for being a trustworthy person to take care of students and staff within the district. Her purpose in running for this position is her understanding of the importance of being connected.

“The mission of Cajon Valley Union School District is to ensure happy kids are engaged in healthy relationships on a path to gainful employment by making Cajon Valley to be the best place to live, work, play and raise a family,” Clark-Mejia said.

She is aware of the importance of students’ social and emotional well-being, and supports reopening schools to allow students the ability to connect in person and have that community. Karen will serve students and their families, understanding their unique strengths, interests, and values so they can succeed in all facets of life—inside the classroom and out.
