Conservative Order for Good Government Hosting Informative Event on Proposition 19 and the Chinese Government

On Tuesday, October 13, the Conservative Order for Good Government (COGG) will be hosting a Zoom meeting to discuss some very important issues.

First, San Diego County Assessor Ernie Dronenburg will be discussing Proposition 19, a statewide proposal that will significantly alter property tax laws and exemptions. In addition to Proposition 15, Prop 19 would make notable changes to property tax rates, especially for Californians over the age of 55 looking to relocate within the state.

After Dronenburg speaks, Dr. Wen Chen, who was born in China at the end of the Great Cultural Revolution, will be speaking. After witnessing the horrific atrocities that killed millions and destroyed traditional Chinese culture, Dr. Chen came to America for a new life. She completed her education, receiving her Doctorate from the California Institute of Technology. The focus of her lecture will be the current culture, history, and human rights in China.

While Prop 19 and the ever-increasing threat of Chinese malfeasance may not be closely related, both are certainly relevant to Californians. The Conservative Order for Good Government has built an impressive reputation when it comes to hosting leading experts on various topics, with Tuesday’s meeting as another example.

Any questions about the event can be sent to Speakers Chair Carolyn Wells at cwellsemail1@gmail.com.
