WHY: Coronavirus caused and will continue to cause, significant negative impacts to local business in San Diego County. Businesses deemed “non-essential” by the state have been required to close, leading to a collapse in revenues and a huge increase in people out of work. Businesses have come up with plans to safely reopen and proven their willingness to reopen in a safe and effective manner.
