I am confident that you will agree with me that our nation and state rely on the democratic principles of free speech and orderly debate. We are facing uncertain times and our citizens are afraid for their jobs, safety, and their future.
The voters of the 76th Assembly District deserve to know the full breadth of who we are, what we stand for, and how we would serve them in the California Legislature. Your campaign has had multiple opportunities to accept or propose options for debates in this race, but has refused to participate.
I am publicly calling for a series of three debates on the issues facing our state. Our campaigns can discuss the details of these debates. I request you contact my campaign to accept this opportunity and responsibility by the end of this week.
