County Supervisor Candidate Joel Anderson Receives Massive Fundraising Support

San Diego County Supervisor District 2 candidate Joel Anderson is entering the last few months of campaign season in a strong position. Financial reports show Anderson was the top fundraiser among all Republican candidates, with $138,420 raised between February and June of 2020.

“My opponent outspent me two to one and I won the primary in March with a significant lead,” said Anderson. “We are on our way to building a huge campaign war chest for November and out raising my opponent puts my campaign in a significant advantage that cannot be overcome.”

After his first place finish in the March primary election, Anderson has received numerous endorsements and outstanding financial support in his campaign for the seat. He has no debts, which is a rarity for candidates at this stage.

Joel Anderson has also been endorsed by the Republican Party of San Diego County, The Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors, The Southern California Rental Housing Association, The San Diego Association of Realtors, The San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce, The San Diego County Medical Society, and others.

“I have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of my supporters, the significant endorsements, volunteers and contributors that have shown that East County voters want a representative that fights for us,” Anderson added.
