San Diego City Council Candidate Joe Leventhal Endorsed by Downtown San Diego Partnership

San Diego City Council candidate Joe Leventhal scored another big name in endorsements last week. The Downtown San Diego Partnership PAC announced its proud endorsement of Leventhal for City Council District 5.

“Joe Leventhal is a smart, engaged member of the San Diego community. I am confident he will advocate for economic and workforce development on the City Council so Downtown San Diego continues to be a prosperous place to live, work, and own a business,” said Downtown San Diego Partnership President and CEO Betsy Brennan.

The Downtown San Diego Partnership is a member-based, nonprofit organization representing a variety of business sectors, spanning through real estate, technology, law, defense, insurance, communications, and tourism among others. The PAC arm of the Downtown San Diego Partnership is a non-partisan political action committee that supports candidates for office that will promote economic vitality and growth in San Diego.

This latest endorsement adds to an ever-growing list of Leventhal’s supporters. “I appreciate the support of the Downtown San Diego Partnership, a leading voice for economic growth and increased quality of life in our city,” said Leventhal. “On the City Council, I will work with the Downtown San Diego Partnership and other leaders in our region to attract, retain, and expand job and business opportunities in San Diego.”
