The Black Lives Matter Organization is Not About Black Lives

Written by Michael Palomba

Black Lives Matter protests and riots have rocked the nation. They are taking place everywhere from small towns to big cities. Many supporters of the movement simply believe that they are supporting black lives, and who could blame them? After all, it’s literally called “Black Lives Matter.”

Unfortunately, those supporters are being conned into supporting a radical organization that is hiding behind the pretense of caring about black lives.

Let me elaborate. For starters, one of the members who sits on the board of BLM is a convicted terrorist. Susan Rosenberg was charged and convicted of terrorism in 1985. She was in possession of hundreds of pounds of explosives and her organizations were involved in multiple robberies, police officer assassinations, and bombings. She was sentenced to 58 years in prison, but only served 16 before being pardoned by former President Bill Clinton.

If a convicted terrorist being on the board is not enough to convince you that BLM is a hate group, rather than a social justice movement, then keep reading.

Black Lives Matter is not actually about all black lives, and even supporters of the group aren’t afraid to acknowledge it.

In an interview with Terry Crews, CNN anchor Don Lemon said this in response to Crew’s statement about black on black crime: “If you want an “All Black Lives Matter” movement… then start that movement with that name, but that’s not what Black Lives Matter is about.”

Don Lemon is a fierce supporter of BLM, and admitted on live television that the movement isn’t actually about all black lives.

And that’s not all. In a session of Fox News’ The Story, Black Lives Matter President Hawk Newsome said this when asked “what exactly is it that you hope to achieve through violence?”

“If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. Alright? And I could be speaking… figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation.”He also mentioned that it was “hypocritical” to have a problem with violence because “this country is built on violence.”

Black Lives Matter is a dangerous, radical organization, but their tactics are very effective. BLM and their slogan “no justice no peace” have spread like wildfire, and everyone from your average college student to presidential candidate Joe Biden seems to have hopped on the Black Lives Matter bandwagon.

We can not allow these anarchists to control the country like they are the mafia. “Give us what we want or we’ll burn it down” sound eerily similar to the way the mafia used to extort the businesses and people in their territory. America is not “BLM territory,” and it’s also not racist—and the narrative that BLM is creating is damaging enough. Combine that with the violence and destroying of history, and it’s a recipe to tear apart the very fabric of this great nation.

We must condemn Black Lives Matter for the radical organization it is and restore law, order, and peace to the United States.
