This Friday, the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is joining San Diego County Assessors for a webinar to help San Diego businesses impacted by the upcoming May 7 filing deadline for business property statements that could affect over 60,000 businesses. The goal of the webinar is to help businesses avoid the 10% tax penalty as a result of the state mandated deadline.
Though the County Assessors have asked Governor Gavin Newsom to delay the deadline, their request was denied. The Office of the County Assessor is reaching out to provide assistance to business owners to help avoid the penalties and ensure taxpayers are assisted and have essential resources during the coronavirus pandemic.
This Friday, we are partnering with the Office of @SanDiegoCounty Assessor to present a webinar on Filing Your 571-L Business Property Statements.
