The coronavirus has certainly made it difficult to do many things, including helping the less fortunate—especially in light of both our economic situation and social distancing mandates. Fortunately, local leaders are going above and beyond to support those who need it, while opening up opportunities for everyday citizens to contribute as well.
Brian Maryott and his campaign have teamed up with Solutions for Change in order to help 50 local families in need. The Vista-based nonprofit is a wonderful organization that equips families and veterans with skills, knowledge, and resources to get back on their feet. Together, they hope to assemble 50 care packages for families, but they need our help.
Citizens are encouraged to contribute what they can. They’re accepting items off of the list below, as well as monetary contributions through the Team Maryott Go Fund Me page, where 100% of donations are going directly to Solutions for Change.
