(San Diego, CA) – San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer today announced his endorsement of former San Diego City Ethics Commissioner Joe Leventhal for City Council, District 5.

“I’m endorsing Joe Leventhal for City Council because he is an effective leader that will get results for San Diego,” said Mayor Faulconer. “Voters can count on Joe to fight for fiscal reform, keep government accountable to the public, and provide real solutions to our homelessness crisis.”

“I am proud to have Mayor Faulconer’s endorsement and support. Mayor Faulconer has been a tireless advocate for government reform and has been a leader in our state in addressing the homeless crisis. I will continue to advance these priorities as your next City Councilman,” said Joe Leventhal.
