Greedy Democrats are yet again stealing taxpayer money for ineffective and useless legislation. Even now, they intend to be horribly irresponsible with our money. A clear cut example of this is SANDAG, which is pushing an initiative that the Democrats support, featuring unnecessary “upgrades” of rarely used transportation systems.
Their spearhead for the initiative, SANDAG Executive Director Hasan Ikhrata, has stated that he doesn’t even know the true cost of the initiative, but knows that it will cost our taxpayers a lot of money. Anyone with a basic knowledge of economics and history knows that beating cash out of your loyal citizens only leads to disarray and discontent.
Vista Deputy Mayor John Franklin and Vista City Councilman Joe Green are co-sponsoring a resolution to oppose a bill that allocates a portion of $247 million in bond funds, which would be a much-needed breath of fresh air from the soot of overtaxation. Unnecessary expenditures, in this case, include over $20 million in taxpayer money, which would inevitably be inefficiently used towards frivolous ends.
These two admirable legislators are protecting our fundamental right to our own money. The reckless actions that have been taken by the Democratic opposition have, as said before, worsened the quality of life for millions of Californians.
We must stand up against this nonsense and irresponsibility by supporting our elected Republican representatives that are pursuing our ideals and protecting our rights.
