The Democrats’ Anti-Police Agenda: A Threat to Public Safety During National Police Week

As National Police Week is observed, it is disheartening to witness the Democrats’ repeated actions that insult and undermine the dedicated men and women of law enforcement. Their anti-police agenda not only disregards the sacrifices made by officers but also contributes to a concerning rise in crime in San Diego.

The first concerning action came when House Democrats Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush shockingly voted against a resolution to memorialize police officers killed in the line of duty. This decision demonstrates a complete lack of respect for those who have given their lives to protect our communities and uphold the rule of law. It is deeply troubling that elected officials would refuse to honor the bravery and sacrifice of these fallen heroes.

Additionally, 43 Senate Democrats voted against blocking anti-police legislation in the District of Columbia. This legislation undermines the crucial work of law enforcement and jeopardizes the safety of residents. Such a stance sends a dangerous message that Democrats prioritize political agendas over the safety and security of our communities.

In yet another alarming move, 175 House Democrats voted against making it a deportable offense for an illegal immigrant to assault a police officer. By opposing this measure, Democrats show a shocking disregard for the safety and well-being of both law enforcement officers and the communities they serve. It is essential to hold individuals accountable for their actions, regardless of their immigration status, especially when it comes to assaulting those who uphold the law.

Most recently, 117 House Democrats voted against condemning the “defunding and dismantling of local police departments.” This stance reflects a deeply troubling disregard for the vital role that law enforcement plays in maintaining public safety. It is undeniable that defunding initiatives and the dismantling of police departments have led to an increase in crime rates and a sense of insecurity within our communities. By rejecting a resolution that condemns such actions, these Democrats are failing to prioritize the safety and well-being of the people they are elected to represent.

The consequences of the Democrats’ anti-police agenda are being felt in San Diego, where a rise in crime has been observed. The refusal to support law enforcement and the promotion of policies that undermine their effectiveness have created an environment that emboldens criminals and puts innocent lives at risk. It is imperative for voters to consider these detrimental actions when choosing their representatives and to support candidates who prioritize public safety over political agendas.

During National Police Week, when we honor and remember the bravery of our police officers, it is crucial to acknowledge the importance of supporting those who protect and serve. We must stand together against the Democrats’ anti-police agenda and demand leaders who prioritize the safety of our communities. By holding Democrats accountable for their actions and electing representatives who support law enforcement, we can work towards a safer and more secure San Diego for all residents.

Democrat Sara Jacobs Votes NO on Supporting Law Enforcement

DEMOCRAT SARA JACOBS VOTES “NO” ON SUPPORTING LAW ENFORCEMENT

After being arrested at the Squad’s fake handcuff rally last year, it should come as no surprise that Democrat Sara Jacobs does not support our nation’s law enforcement officers. During Thursday’s vote on House Concurrent Resolution 40, Jacobs actively recorded a “NO” vote on “expressing support for local law enforcement officers and condemning efforts to defend or dismantle local law enforcement agencies.”

Other members voting “NO” include Squad members Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Ayanna Pressley.

REPUBLICAN BILL WELLS WILL ALWAYS BACK THE BLUE!

Americans in California’s 51st Congressional District, and across the nation, deserve better representation. We need hard-working, common-sense leaders who understand the importance of public safety and who rightfully honor the law enforcement officers who lay their life on the line each and every day.

I hope you will come alongside me as I challenge the progressive liberal positions taken by our sitting Congresswoman and fight to preserve the American way of life for all of us. Help us send a signal to Sara Jacobs and Washington, D.C. that defunding the police is not what the American people want to see in Congress.

Sincerely,

Bill Wells
