SDG&E Rate Change - San Diego News Desk

In a letter to the California Public Utilities Commission, I shared my concerns about SDG&E’s 2024 General Rate Case application. The commission is being asked to consider additional rate increases, and I have heard from many of my constituents about how it would adversely impact them.

Sign onto my letter and join me in asking the commission to consider the SDG&E 2024 General Rate Case application with my constituents in mind- many of whom are already experiencing higher than usual natural gas and electricity bills- and protect them from utility costs that price them out of our community.

SDG&E and the California Public Utilities Commission will be hosting Public Participation Hearings, where you may express your comments and concerns about the 2024 General Rate Case application with the commission’s Administrative Law Judge who is overseeing the rate increase request.

A virtual hearing will be held on March 15 and two in-person hearings will be held on March 23.
