Nathan Fletcher’s Disregard for MTS Workers’ Health and Well-Being Exposed by Teamsters Threat of a Lawsuit

From a Homeless Crisis to Failing to Provide Basic Human Necessities to His Workers, Supervisor Fletcher’s Democrat Government Continues to Fail.

Nathan Fletcher’s disregard for the safety and well-being of Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) workers has become a matter of concern among the workers and the public. Despite his push for putting more people on public transportation, his actions have been met with criticism from the Teamsters Local 683 who have sued MTS for denying the basic right of restroom access to the drivers. This lawsuit has brought to light the adverse effects that Nathan Fletcher’s agenda has had on the workers he claims to protect, who are at risk of health problems if toilets are not sanitary or readily available.

The OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) mandates that employers provide their workers with sanitary and immediately-available toilet facilities, as well as transportation that provides prompt access to restrooms if they are not available at the work location. The failure of MTS and Transdev, the company responsible for managing the transit system, to comply with these standards has resulted in the Demand letter sent by the Teamsters Local 683.

The letter argues that the failure of MTS and Transdev to provide suitable resting facilities and access to restrooms has caused significant harm to the workers and violated their basic human rights. The Union finds it shocking that these concerns have gone unaddressed for so long and that workers are being denied the right to access basic facilities like restrooms.

The actions of Nathan Fletcher and MTS have hurt not only the workers but also his constituents, who rely on public transportation for their daily needs. The lack of restroom access and suitable resting facilities is a clear violation of workers’ rights, and it is imperative that the situation be rectified immediately.

The public deserves to have safe and efficient public transportation, and the workers deserve to have their basic rights respected. The letter sent by the Teamsters Local 683 highlights the need for action and the urgency of the situation. The failure of MTS and Transdev to provide suitable facilities for workers is unacceptable, and it is time for Nathan Fletcher to acknowledge his actions and work towards resolving the issue.

While Nathan fails and continues to hurt workers, he still believes he is fit to be a State Senator.
