In Oakland, human trafficking victims as young as 15 are brought from Nevada by their pimps, sent to walk the streets nearly naked in front of an elementary school.
But thanks to legislative Democrats and Governor Newsom, local cops are hamstrung by a new law that legalized loitering for the purpose of prostitution.
When he signed the bill, Gov. Newsom committed to “mitigate” any impacts, but that’s proven to be yet another empty promise from the governor.
Now that the tragic consequences of the new law are becoming clear, Californians deserve to know – will Democrats continue enabling human traffickers or backtrack on their misguided law and finally protect vulnerable girls?
