John Legend Pushes for Democratic District Attorney Elections, Particularly Chesa Boudin of San Francisco

Singer and songwriter John Legend has released endorsements for Democratic District Attorney Candidates across the country.

You might ask yourself, why a renowned singer has any business in politics, but Legend has taken it upon himself to ensure horrible Democratic candidates get elected. Legend highlighted one of the worst DA perpetrators, from San Francisco, Chesa Boudin. Thousands in SF are pushing to recall Boudin as District Attorney, due to his radical left-wing policies that lead to skyrocketing crime and looting.

Many photos show community stores having products completely locked up behind glass, in addition to drug overdose deaths being off the charts throughout the city–primarily through strong drugs such as fentanyl.

Furthermore, Boudin himself has been accused of letting multiple hate crimes slide, such as one against Asian American Anh Lê, who filed a lawsuit against Boudin after the case was left unprosecuted. Following this, the San Francisco Police Department reported an atrocious 567% increase in similar hate crimes against Asian American and Pacific Islander residents.

Among some of the other endorsements Legend made were Pete Hardin in Orange County and Diane Becton in Contra Costa County. Hardin continues to support the disastrous Prop 47 and has been criticized for his behavior around women.

Nonetheless, Legend has stood by Boudin as a solid candidate both during his initial endorsement in 2020, and now at the height of a recall.
