Nathan Fletcher Uses the Term “Birthing People” In Official Documents

Written by Brock Johnson

Nathan Fletcher, Chair of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, has sent out a letter to the rest of the County Supervisors addressing birthing health within the county.

The main subject of his letter is the “development of a doula pilot program that addresses birthing health disparities while prioritizing equity and community based care.” The letter is a bit strange though as it never references anything female related but instead uses the term “birthing people”.

The pilot program introduced by Fletcher will “help bring greater doula access to birthing people who are Black, Indigenous, or people of color … by contracting with community-based doula businesses to provide services during pregnancy, for birth and delivery, and postpartum care. This program will enable these organizations to serve more individuals at no cost to the clients, train more doulas to serve the community, and promote better health outcomes.”

The far-left woke mentality has pushed so far that official county documents cannot refer to females as females. It should be noted that referring to women as “birthing people” is just as offensive as misgendering someone. The vast majority of females identify as “female” and simply referring to them as a “birthing person” strips them of all of their other qualities.
