“With Kamala you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence. So you’re constantly sort of propping up a bully and it’s not really clear why.”
Over the weekend, several of Vice President Harris’ ex-staffers revealed to the Washington Post several substantial misgivings with her before her ascension to her current post.
As is becoming readily apparent, Harris’ lack of skill in any shape or form is creating problems not only for the public, but in her own office as well. The already shaky façade continues to crumble as Symone Sanders—chief spokesperson for Harris—announced his plans for departure last week. In addition, several pillars of her office are expected to leave, including the director of press operations Peter Velz, and the deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, Vince Evans.
As her staffers reveal, this absolute incompetence is being dealt with the only way she knows how, in fits of anger and aggression, prompting the quote above. Some of her staffers have said that Harris refuses to read and analyze briefs and when she comes unprepared for meetings regarding the information in those briefs, her staff or ridiculed and blamed for making her seem unprepared. One former staffer said to the Washington Post, ” It’s clear that you’re not working with somebody who is willing to do the prep and the work”.
Even the democrats are quaking in their boots as the primary 2024 presidential candidate’s whole office is falling apart, should President Biden not chose to run for a second term. Luckily, the public has been picking up on her ineptitude for the past few months as all of her primary tasks have either been utter failures, or just neglected completely. Her finest work in this department is the border crisis, which has zero men, or women, on the job competent enough to get the job done.
The immense turnover in her office is allegedly a common topic of discussion among her underlings. Gil Duran, who worked under her in 2013, stated, “One of the things we’ve said in our little text groups among each other is what is the common denominator through all this and it’s her.” Duran left her office within 5 months after seeing the cracks in the façade. Duran is now the editorial-page editor for the San Francisco Examiner and published a column recently on many of the issues facing Harris and her staff.
