In-N-Out Location Hit With Two Fines for Not Checking Vaccine Status of Customers

Written by Nathaniel Mannor

The war between the tyrannical Leftist government and non-compliant corporations continues as a second In-n-Out joins the fight. The restaurant, located on Pleasant Hill, refused to check the vaccination status of in-person customers, earning a $250 and $500 fine from Contra Costa County. The first In-n-Out, located at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, made headlines when they announced that they would not check vaccination statuses of customers, going against the San Francisco government. Both San Francisco and Contra Costa are making restaurants check the vaccination status of customers or bring a negative COVID test.

In response, Arnie Wensinger, the chief legal and business officer, released a statement saying, “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant associates to segregate customers into those who may be served and those who may not, whether based on the documentation they carry, or any other reason.”

He’s right. The left wing political machine strips away our rights if we refuse to get vaccinated without realizing our side of the story, this rings particularly true in the Bay Area which has been dominated by left wing politics for decades. Some of us have underlying health conditions, some of us have religious exemptions, others may be pregnant and choose not to take a risk that could impact the baby’s health. At the same time, many abhor government intrusion into their lives.

Don’t believe me, ask the customers. Michelle Wollard told KPIX that, “I think this is just crazy. I think it’s horrible and it’s government overreach. We are eating here tonight because we want to support In-n-Out.”

The Democrats, for a long time, take issue with those who step out of line. Rather than have a reasonable discussion with their political rivals, they seek to cram down their worldview onto dissenters and, in doing so, have only encouraged their opposition. Corporations are one social institutional check against the government, and it’s up to them to bring the woke left to their knees.
