One of the biggest restaurant chains “In-N-Out Burger” took the initiative and refused to enforce a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for customers in San Francisco. They closed their restaurant temporarily and went online, to show the government that they are not going to comply.
“In-N-Out Burger has taken the right position on vaccine passports. #DoNotComply,” posted Missouri Republican state Rep. Tony Lovasco.
Everyone supports the choice of In-N-Out and “If you live near an In-N-Out Burger it is your patriotic duty to spend some $$$ there tomorrow”, Fox News host Steve Hilton said.
Babylon Bee writer Frank Fleming said, “So if I understand this, in San Francisco you need to show proof of vaccination to eat at In-N-Out… unless you shoplift the burger because then it would be illegal for anyone to stop you.” Fleming is referring to Prop 47 which passed in 2014. The initiative increased what was considered to be a felony theft from $450 t0 $900. Prop 47 has been cited as one of the direct causes for the massive rise in crime in San Francisco.
San Francisco Department of Health’s requirements are “unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe”, “we refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” stated Executive Vice President Wensinger of In-N-Out. President Biden has already announced a vaccine mandate for not just for federal employees but for some private businesses as well. Companies with more than 100 employees must have be fully vaccinated or face weekly testing. While the language has yet to be drafted for private businesses, the Labor Department may soon issue an emergency standard that could affect 80 million private workers. Businesses that do not comply with the standard could face up to a $14,000 fine per violation.
