Oceanside, CA – Christopher Rodriguez, a decorated combat Marine, small businessman, Oceanside City Councilman, and Republican candidate for Congress in CA-49th was selected by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) in their first round of “On the Radar” candidates as part of the Young Guns program. The program highlights standout Republican candidates in competitive races across the country.
“My campaign is about No Excuses,” said Rodriguez. “Voters in this district are sick and tired of politicians who make excuses. Democrats like Levin make excuses for why he has to obey Pelosi. On our side of the aisle, GOP politicians make excuses for why they constantly lose to Mike Levin over and over. Well enough of that. Let’s win. With this announcement today, the NRCC is signifying that our campaign is on the right footing, ready to carry the torch and deliver this seat, and fire Levin and Nancy Pelosi.
