Biden’s Approval Ratings Continue To Plummet

According to a new national poll released on Tuesday, President Biden’s approval ratings continue to plummet. For over a month, the president has been facing bi-partisan bombardment for his careless withdrawal and evacuation effort in Afghanistan, along with a surge of the Delta variant that continues to sweep across the nation. Due in part to these two factors, a poll conducted by Quinnipiac University displays that Biden’s approval rating is at 42%, with a 50% disapproval rating.

As for Biden’s approval rating with foreign policy matters, the poll indicates he is at a trembling 34% approval. However, what is the most flabbergasting is what the poll suggests regarding the president’s handling of the pandemic. If you recall, Biden vowed throughout his election to take control of the virus and bring a sense of normality back to Americans. Fast forward nearly a year, and these promises are yet, and seemingly far away, from reaching fruition. As the poll showcases, Biden’s approval on handling the COVID crisis now stands at 48%. A grand deficit, where in May, he was at a 65% approval.

Although these two issues have recently tarnished the Biden Administration, they are not the only contributing factors that Americans are frustrated with. For instance, Biden’s approval rating for the economy has dwindled to 42% approval and 52% disapproval. Moreover, the president’s handling of his essential duties as Commander-in-Chief is at 40% approval and 50% disapproval.

Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,210 adults nationwide in their poll. The survey’s overall sampling error is plus or minus 2.8 percentage points. This poll demonstrates Biden’s many failures at the beginning of his presidency. Furthermore, the poll also serves as evidence that many Americans are beginning to see Biden for what he truly is: a delusional president who fails to take any accountability for his wrongdoings.
