Gucci Galvez had pledged to the community not to vote to increase her own salary if she was elected. This false promise was to gain votes against the fiscally conservative Steve Stenberg in their election in November 2018. Soon after being elected, the self-serving ‘Gucci’ Galvez continued to break her word to the voters by voting to raise her own salary in 2019. The wasteful spending ‘Gucci’ Galvez’s vote proved yet another dishonest claim she made just to get elected.
The Detroit native, Gucci Galvez leads an extravagant lifestyle flaunting her wealth and overpriced clothing to intimidate other women. It seems clear the vote she made was to fund her spendthrift outings and affluent wardrobe.
Gucci Galvez’s vote demonstrated to the political Left that she cares more about funding her own high-priced luxury life than she cares about Chula Vista’s poor and homeless. It demonstrated to the political Right that she doesn’t understand budgeting. It demonstrated to both political sides that she just can’t be trusted and will say anything to get elected.
