SNL bashes Newsom in recent skit “So You Think You Can Get the Vaccine”

Saturday Night Live, which is known for being extremely liberal, took shots at Gov. Newsom in a recent skit. This goes to show that Newsom’s performance has been so abysmal, even liberals are coming for him.

In the skit, “So You Think You Can Get the Vaccine,” Alex Moffatt plays the part of Newsom, and he in no way tries to be flattering to the Governor.

The skit begins by asking the “governor” how everything is going so far in California, to which he responds how his physical appearance is camera-ready, demonstrating his narcissistic and superficial nature.

During the skit, he was also labeled as the most hated person by all Californias, “except for those 10 people he had dinner with in Napa that one time”, said Kate McKinnon, acting as Dr. Anthony Fauci. That was a reference to his non-COVID compliant outing to The French Laundry a few months back.

Californians are frustrated and angry that Newsom has been doing an awful job at handling the pandemic and, to add insult to injury, he’s been a hypocrite as well. Throughout the pandemic California has suffered from extremely high case rates, draconian shutdown orders, the worst vaccine distribution in the US, and more, all while Mr. Newsom fails to abide by his own COVID-19 restrictions.

The masses have seen how Newsom continues to contradict his own regulations and they are not happy about it. While his children are learning in person at their private schools, the rest of the children in the state are stuck with distance learning and are suffering adverse mental and physical effects as a result.

These are the reasons why the effort to recall Newsom has seen such extreme success. With 10 days left until the deadline, the campaign has gathered more than the 1.5M signatures required to trigger a recall election and is now shooting for 2M in case any signatures are disqualified.
