A federal judge has barred the Biden administration indefinitely from enacting a 100-day pause on most deportations. U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton stated that the deportation pause not only violated federal law, but also could bring additional costs to the state.
This plan by the Biden administration was another attempt to reverse the “America First” policies of former President Donald Trump. Biden has also proposed a bill to provide a path to citizenship for approximately 11 million illegal immigrants currently living in the U.S.
Judge Drew Tipton ruled that the moratorium violated administrative procedures and no explanations for the pause were presented.
Judge Tipton’s decision to block this effort by the Biden Administration is a win for law and order as well as a win for taxpayers who would’ve had to foot the bill.
Joe Biden’s obsession with rolling back the priorities of former President Donald Trump has put the American people in harm’s way. Biden’s rhetoric and attempted actions have given the impression that illegal immigration is perfectly okay in our country and has emboldened illegal immigrants.
On Saturday U.S. Border Patrol arrested 16 people suspected of trying to enter the U.S. through the border fence in Otay Mesa. It began with a pursuit of at least three vehicles, two were caught and one of them collided with a center median in National City. 14 Mexican nationals were caught in the two vehicles, but Border Patrol was unable to locate the other vehicles and those inside.
“These smugglers endangered the lives of these migrants, the traveling public, and our agents,” said San Diego Sector Border Patrol Chief Patrol Agent Aaron M. Heitke.
Another incident occurred Tuesday night when ten illegal immigrants led the Border Patrol on a high-speed chase that resulted in a multi-vehicle collision, injuring four Border Patrol officers. The driver crashed into at least two innocent civilian vehicles as well as some Border Patrol vehicles. The driver and passenger were arrested for the smuggling of 10 undocumented individuals.
Normalizing illegal immigration serves as a slap in the face to those who complete the legalization process correctly and also puts every US citizen in danger. Judging by Joe Biden’s recent actions, it is clear his administration is not putting America first.
