Candidate Profile: Joe Green for Vista City Council

Joe Green is the Republican Party of San Diego County’s endorsed candidate for Vista City Council District 2.

He is the incumbent candidate in the district and also served as Vice-Chair of the Regional Solid Waste Association, a Board Member on both the SANDAG Transportation Committee and Buena Sanitation, a Board Alternate NC Dispatch JPA, Kiwanian, local youth leader, and Sunday school teacher.

“I serve Vista because I love this town. I believe in smart growth with adequate infrastructure,” Green explained. “I want to work with my community to bring new innovative businesses to our town that can meet and serve the needs of our citizens.”

Green has three main priorities for his second term in the council: business development, public safety, and infrastructure. As a small business owner, Green knows how to ensure a business-friendly climate in Vista and ensure that the city can attract innovative businesses that meet our citizens’ needs.

“I want to be re elected to continue to insure our city is a city where our citizens can feel safe, connected, and thrive,” said Green. “A city where our citizens are heard, their needs are met, and is an example of unity and collaboration for the betterment of our community. This office is a non-partisan office and I always choose people over politics.”

If re-elected, Joe will continue to serve the Vista community and guarantee that citizens will be represented in their local government. The city will attract new businesses, repair crucial infrastructure, and improve safety for all residents.
