Cal Fire, a major organization representing over 6,000 current and former professional firefighters, has officially endorsed San Diego County Supervisor Kristin Gaspar for her re-election. This marks a significant show of support in a year when first responders have been more important than ever.
While many elected officials have wasted this year playing politics and pandering to voters, leaders like Gaspar have remained diligent in putting the people first. No one understands that sentiment better than our first responders, who recognize that Supervisor Gaspar is precisely the kind of leader San Diegans need.
Their backing joins the endorsements of dozens of others including the Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones, various community boards, veterans’ associations, and countless others.
