Last Thursday, President Trump officially offered his endorsement of Darrell Issa for the 50th congressional district. Trump’s exact statement was “Darrell always has had my full support and complete and total Endorsement. We need him badly in Washington!”

President Trump tweeted the endorsement in response to a Twitter back-and-forth between Issa and his Democratic opponent, Ammar Campa-Najjar. Issa criticized former President Barack Obama’s lenient treatment of Antifa and claimed that the former president’s failed handling had much to do with the recent riots. Campa-Najjar immediately proceeded to make it about race and refused to acknowledge Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.
Issa showed his gratitude for President Trump’s endorsement, stating “Thank you, Mr. President! It’s been an honor supporting your historic presidency. You’re leading America to a strong recovery from COVID, fighting Antifa, and delivering the strongest economic recovery in history. I’m excited to help you to Keep America Great!”

In order to have someone that truly represents the 50th district in Congress, it’s essential that Darrell Issa is elected, and not Ammar Campa-Najjar. Putting Campa-Najjar in Congress will only give more power to the radical left and away from Republicans fighting to keep America great.
