Senator Brian Jones Hosting Tele-Town Hall for Insurance and Small Business Resources

Written by Nicholas Vetrisek

On Thursday at 3 PM, State Senator Brian Jones will co-host a “tele-town hall” discussing insurance and small business resources available during the coronavirus pandemic. Along with Jones, California State Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara and Assemblyman Randy Voepel will also be speaking.

California businesses are struggling as a result of the pandemic. Though there have been recessions before, there has never been a financial crisis in California of this magnitude. As a result, the three aforementioned leaders are partnering with local service organizations to help address the major issues facing California small businesses.

“Businesses in my district are fighting to survive, and I honor them for that. I’m with them in the fight, and I’ll make sure every useful resource is available to them. I am grateful that the Insurance Commissoner is committed to that as well, and that’s why we’re co-hosting this tele-town hall.”

You can RSVP at crb@insurance.ca.gov. Once you RSVP, you will be given a call-in number. For more information about the event, you can click here.
