No matter what difficulties we’re facing in our lives individually and as a nation, it’s always important to stop and reflect on the immense sacrifices that have been made for our country—for us. This great nation was built by great men willing to die for the cause of freedom, and it has been protected ever since by our brave men and women in uniform.
Today, and everyday, we reflect and offer our sincere gratitude for their commitment to the survival and prosperity of our Republic. We can never fully repay their sacrifices, but we can and must always honor them, or we will prove wholly undeserving of what they fought for.
The Republican Party of San Diego County thanks all of our soldiers from every generation for their bravery and sacrifice, and wishes everyone a Happy Memorial Day.
