Brian Maryott Holding Fourth Virtual Town Hall

Last month, 49th district congressional candidate Brian Maryott began hosting weekly virtual town hall meetings on Facebook. The town halls have proven to be very popular among viewers, so the fourth installment of the series will take place tomorrow at 6:30 PM.

Maryott will be joined by Carlsbad Mayor Matt Hall to discuss, well, whatever those attending the town hall want to. That’s one of the alluring facets of the Maryott campaign and these events—they’re guided by what constituents are interested in. Rather than being scripted word-for-word and minute-by-minute, Maryott allows the people to voice their questions and concerns and responds in a friendly, conversational manner. That’s rare in politics these days, to say the least.

As a statement from the Maryott campaign notes, “We don’t often have the opportunity to ask a congressional candidate or our city’s Mayor questions about those issues that are important to us.  But you do, this Wednesday!”

This is a great opportunity to learn more about Brian Maryott and his campaign. If you missed out on last Wednesday’s virtual town hall, you can watch it here.
