Darrell Issa Slams Ammar Campa-Najjar for Kowtowing to Democratic Party Leadership

The race between Darrell Issa and Ammar Campa-Najjar for the 50th congressional district is set to be one of the most contested in the country.

On Tuesday, Issa called out Campa-Njjar for deleting a tweet that suggested he might actually stand up to the Democratic Party.

Campa-Najjar later tweeted out a less confrontational version of his tweet that still criticized House Democrats, but not to the same extent. It read, “Instead of itemizing $35 million to the Kennedy Center when it’s closed until May 10th, the House bill should be helping provide relief to gig workers (like drivers) who have zero protections. Let’s give Kennedy Center employees the same aid we’re giving every worker.”

He then posted several tweets trying to save face, claiming he doesn’t “answer to Pelosi.”

Not only is Campa-Najjar too far left for the 50th district, he is too weak to lead them as well. We need experienced politicians that will stick to what they believe is right, not ones that change based on the “room” that they’re in.
