San Diego Ranked One of the Top 25 Cities in the World to Visit

According to Canda’s leading online travel agency, San Diego ranks as one of the top 25 most beautiful cities to visit in the world. After gathering suggestions from thousands of travel writers, bloggers, and agencies, the Toronto based Flight Network made their list.

“Gorgeous beaches, pristine parks, and perfect weather make San Diego an ideal place to visit anytime of the year,” says Flight Network.

San Diego’s proximity to Mexico was also a top reason to visit the city. Tacos and margaritas are as common as sunny days and water in San Diego.

San Francisco somehow came out just ahead of San Diego. Dreary, foggy weather, out of control homelessness, with feces and needles on the streets doesn’t sound as appealing as the clean, warm city of San Diego.

Our museums in Balboa Park, Sea World, the famous San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, and Legoland are just a few of the many destinations to visit while in San Diego.

Stop by Old Town and grab an authentic Mexican lunch and a margarita, followed by a walk through the history of San Diego or a visit to the USS Midway, and you’ll get a feel for what makes San Diego so special.

End the day with an authentic Italian dinner in one of the several delicious restaurants in Little Italy. If you still have energy, enjoy one of the several nightclubs in the Gaslamp District downtown for some live music and dancing.

Our neighbor just to the north, Los Angeles, didn’t even make the list. All in all, San Diego is one of the best places in the world, which is why it has long been called America’s Finest City.
