Despite her own state telling her—through recent polls—that she has lost relevance, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) continues to fight desperately for attention. Which topic did she support with absolutely no argument now? The impeachment of President Trump, of course.
In a recent tweet, Harris reiterates her unwavering support for impeachment:

Since publishing the tweet, it has been liked over 100,000 times and retweeted over 14,000 times. Of all the mindless retweets, however, there was one that was particularly interesting, which came from Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez.
It is only fitting that Gonzalez would retweet something from Kamala Harris, as both are power-hungry political hacks. Both share a similar pattern of cosponsoring a plethora of bad legislation that does not have the best interests of their constituents in mind. Furthermore, both Harris and Gonzalez have yet to present a valid or concrete argument behind their motives to impeach Trump, which has been a consistent trend during their political tenure.
Lastly, it is blatantly obvious that these two are operating solely on blind partisanship and political expediency, which is simply highlighted by their endorsement of the unsubstantiated “need” to impeach President Trump.
Regardless of the Twitter behavior and political schemes, the burning question remains: impeach Trump for what? Record job numbers, market highs, the destruction of ISIS, border security, record low unemployment for women, Hispanics, and African Americans? Or for completely uncorroborated stories produced by the left-wing media about President Trump’s interaction with Ukraine since the whole Russia conspiracy fell apart?
It is clear that Gonzalez and Harris—and the Democratic Party as a whole—plan to continue the pattern of broadcasting unverified claims in order to gain their 15 minutes of fame. Moreover, Democrats are just desperate to find an accomplishment to staple to their name, and with their push for Trump’s impeachment on the rise, they will exhaust all resources to push it as far as possible. However, given their absent record of wins, Democrats’ call for impeachment will likely fall just as flat as their Russia conspiracy.
For a party that claims to stray from political expediency and claims to be truly for the people, they seem to be doing the exact opposite. The needs of working families, veterans, the homeless, and other disadvantaged individuals have been brushed to the side while political reputation and status have moved to the forefront.
Ultimately, their main interests lie in grandstanding to collect donor money to fund their pointless vendettas and futile campaigns. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone—political ploys are the Democrats’ specialty.
