These include the median home list and monthly rent (analyzed from Zillow’s May 2019 index), annual cost of groceries, healthcare, utilities and transportation (analyzed from Bureau of Labor Statistics’ 2017-18 Consumer Expenditure Survey), the quality of the school districts (analyzed from Niche), and the violent and property crime rate per 1,000 residents (analyzed from NeighborhoodScout).
