GREATER SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS (SDAR) ENDORSES KEVIN FAULCONER FOR SAN DIEGO COUNTY SUPERVISOR

SAN DIEGO, CA — Former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, candidate for San Diego County Supervisor in the third district, announced the endorsement of the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR).

The Greater San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) is the largest REALTOR association in California. Their mission is to protect private property rights and to contribute to the individual success of members in their quest to help their clients achieve the American Dream of Homeownership.

“The Greater SanDiego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) is honored to have the opportunity to endorse Kevin Faulconer for the 2024 San Diego County District Three Supervisor race,” said SDAR President Spencer Lugash. “Our Association prioritizes the importance of the protection of private property rights and the assurance that our members can continue to help their clients achieve the American Dream of Home Ownership and the creation of generational wealth. As Mayor, Kevin Faulconer epitomized these values, and we believe that he will be able to bring much needed change once again to the San Diego County government that will allow for an ease on restrictive regulations that will bring increased home production.”

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Greater San Diego Association of REALTORS®,” said Former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer. “As Mayor, I worked to make it easier to built the housing supply we needed in the areas that made the most sense in order to give all San Diegans an opportunity to live the American dream – starting by having the ability to afford to own their own home. I’ll keep that same mindset as Supervisor, working to make it easier to build the housing supply we need to help future generations stay in San Diego.”

As Mayor of San Diego, Faulconer prioritized housing in areas that make the most sense and want smart growth. In tandem with the City Council, he worked to increase citywide housing capacity by 100,000 units by completing 16 community plan updates – more than any administration in City history. As Supervisor, he’ll bring the same approach he did when he was Mayor of San Diego, working with communities that want more housing.
