Lakeside, CA – Six-term Assemblywoman and former Republican Minority Leader Marie Waldron today announced her endorsement of conservative Lakeside School Board President Andrew Hayes in the race for the termed-out Republican’s 75
th District Assembly seat.
“I’ve spent more than two decades fighting for the people of this district,” said Waldron. “I know the issues and values that matter to them, and I know what it means to stand up to Sacramento Democrats’ failed agenda. Andrew Hayes will not let AD-75 families down in the fight to get our economy back on track, keep our communities safe, and keep the woke agenda out of our kids’ classrooms.”
After achieving success in business, Waldron began her public service on the Escondido City Council. Waldron served on the Council until 2012 when she was elected to the Assembly. Chosen by her colleagues as Republican Minority Leader in 2018, Waldron is now in her sixth and final term as an Assemblywoman.
“Assemblywoman Waldron knows best what it takes to serve the 75th District community,” said Hayes. “I am honored that she has put her trust in me to continue the work of fighting for our local values and standing up to the far-left agenda that is crushing California families.”
