San Diego Republicans have made a remarkable display of unity<\/a> by taking a consistent and firm stance against the region’s “housing first” approach to homelessness. This opposition to “housing first,” a term that has long been debated among bureaucrats, service providers, advocates, and elected officials, is not only notable for its consistency but also for its effectiveness as a public-facing message.<\/p>\n
