As National Police Week begins, it is important to recognize the hard work and sacrifices made by law enforcement officers to keep communities safe. Unfortunately, San Diego is still struggling with a severe shortage of officers and detectives, making it increasingly difficult to maintain public safety.<\/p>\n

The shortage of officers and detectives is a result of the Democrats’ defund the police stance. Their hateful rhetoric has made it increasingly difficult for law enforcement officers to do their job, causing them to feel underappreciated and undervalued. As a result, many experienced officers are leaving the force, and new recruits are hesitant to join.<\/p>\n

This shortage of officers is not only affecting the law enforcement community, but it is also making life harder and less safe for San Diego residents. Crimes are going unsolved, and response times are getting longer, putting people in danger and causing property damage.<\/p>\n

The San Diego Police Officers Association President, Jared Wilson, has spoken out about the issue, stating that the shortage of officers and detectives is putting a strain on the entire community. The San Diego Police Department is doing what they can to recruit new officers, but their efforts are being hampered by the Democrats’ defund the police stance.<\/p>\n

National Police Week is a time to honor and celebrate the hard work and sacrifices made by law enforcement officers. It is also a time to recognize the impact that Democrats’ policies have had on law enforcement officers and their ability to keep the community safe.
