(SAN DIEGO) \u2014 The Republican Party of San Diego County would like to extend our well wishes to Supervisor Nathan Fletcher during his medical leave of absence. We understand the importance of taking time to focus on one’s health, and we hope that Supervisor Fletcher takes all the time he needs to recover.<\/p>\n

We also want to take this opportunity to highlight our commitment to mental health, particularly for those who have served in the military. The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs estimates that 7% of veterans experience Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and it’s important that we provide support and resources to these individuals.<\/p>\n

The County’s Behavioral Health Services Department has a confidential and free-of-charge Access & Crisis Line (ACL) that offers support and resources countywide on topics including but not limited to alcohol and substance use support services, crisis intervention, mental health referrals, and more. If you or a loved one needs support or resources, please call the ACL at 1-888-724-7240.<\/p>\n

The recent news of Supervisor Nathan Fletcher’s medical leave of absence has left many of his constituents in the 4th Supervisor District without representation.
